All about me

Hi, my name is Rita Haxhiavdija, and I just finished my 3rd year as a psychology student minoring in education. I moved from Vancouver to Victoria in 2023 to start my post-secondary experience/learning at UVic. My family consists of my mom, my dad and my older sister. They all still live in Vancouver, so I like to visit. Although my family is in Vancouver, I love to spend my summers in Victoria. I enjoy walking around the city, trying out new restaurants around town! I also love to watch hockey during the year. My favourite team is the Vancouver Canucks, which I know was very unfortunate this season. I hope to become a teacher at the secondary level, so I am very excited to further my learning in how social media mixes with education. I am really excited about what this course entails.
